Great plugin for netbeans, I love it.
Any chances to add a “Save” option to the mails, so we can open them with thunderbird, outlook etc. to check the visual apareance ?
Thanks for using the plugin Andre. The mails are actually already stored on machine in the NetBeans user profile folder under “config/SMTPDummy/mails”. I’m thinking of adding option for “Open in system” in the context menu of each mail. That would invoke the application on the operating system that is associated with “eml” files. But I also think the “Save” option is a good idea and it should be simple to implement. Will add it over the weekend.
Hi Andre, I just wanted to let you know that the save option is available in SMTP Dummy 1.1 which you can download from Kenai. To enable the function click on the SMTP Dummy Servers node, show the Properties window (Window -> Properties). Tick “Save mails caught”, Click the button next to “Save folder” and specify the folder you want to save the mails. Thats it!
